Default new project, cant decide turbo or n/a

ok guys just picked up a 94 cx hatch with a b16a2, its clean and quick, but any way, i could go crvtec with 12.1:1 and the b16 head ported polished and 5 angle valve jod ctr cams, skunk2 i/m / or i can turbo the b16, and start a build up on a b18c1 block, full build up sleaves, pistons, rods, preped crank, to go as fast as i can afford eventually, what should i do i want to hear some other peps opinions before i decide
TIA
-Ralf

hey how much did you pay for that hatch?

just curious.

oh, and TURBO !!!
definetely! man hatches are so turbo friendly,
you can use small turbos so they spool up super fast.. but then they'll still pull hard till redline, and every pound of torque it adds just shaves 10th's off your 1/4 mile

im an all motor guy myself...but it just all boils down to what your goals are for your car and what the intended use will be. if money's no object then go all out boost...but that could get really expensive really fast, tell us what you wanna do and it'll be easier to give an honest opinion.

well if your goal is 12's...
on a b16..
I wouldnt even consider trying for that N/A.. man that'd be expensive.

but yeah, i think you could hit 12's with slicks and stock internals.
you'd need a big fat turbo, and REALLY good engine management though.
lots of dyno time.

i'd rather go for 13's on stock internals.. then build it up for low 12's

Hitting 12's all motor is going to be a lot harder than 12's with turbo

Is this car your daily driver? If so, then turbo is about the only way to high low numbers while still being a reliable daily driver.
