new paint
i need to do minor body work on my car, and then get it resprayed because there is some chipped paint in some places because it is the original Samba Green from 1993. should i just get it resprayed with the samba green and get a black interior with leather seats, orrrr should i go with a white pearl type color on the outside and a black and red "type-r" style interior? let me know what you guys think.

that sounds like a good idea. what do you think of what you described, and the black and red interior?
EDIT:: Also, I am doing the interior and exterior of my car now that I have a swapped engine. While I am getting stuff for my interior/exterior, I'm going to research and study more about turbo and when I feel I know enough about turbo, then I will start to boost.

Re: new paint (jkaz)
IMO, championship white is played out.
Modern colors will set your car apart, like seafoam, Amber brown, autum brown, even midori green.
The whole new nissan lineup has some kill original looking paint colors from the factory.

Re: new paint (Boost_V)
I am doing other modifications to my car before turbo. I don't know enough about it yet. I just got a new job, so my first couple of paychecks are going to be interior / exterior. I'm getting it painted first though. The paint is chipping in some spots, and it needs some body work on the quarter panels and the trunk lid. I think I'm going to go back to the OEM spoiler. So yeah, my first couple of paychecks are going to be interior / exterior stuff.

Re: new paint (jkaz)
since your asking for opinions, I'll give ya mine...keep the samba! IMO a great looking color for a sol...plus it'll be cheaper than a complete respray including door jams and engine bay yea and a black interior :****: but I'd have to agree with nix, it's your car, get it painted they way YOU want.
