Default New Owner of a 1995 Hatchback

Just bought a 95 DX Hatchback today. All stock, manual, 193k. Still runs really good for the milage I was surprised how tight and new-ish it felt on the test drive (obviously been very well cared for by previous ownerss). Only thing I'm not real happy with is the lack of A/C but I've been told it can be added if desired. Maybe once it starts warming up I'll collect the parts and see about adding it. The A/C bracket is on the engine so I can probably find a way to make it work. I like the car because it's totally stock and I actually plan to keep it that way until the engine or transmission requires major work, then I'll put in something with less milage. I owned a 93 Del Sol a while back but I've been out of Hondas for over two years now (I think?) so if no one minds I might ask a question or two. Glad to be back into Hondas, hopefully this car lasts me a long time, I felt pretty lucky to find a totally unmodified EG style Hatchback in this day and age.

If you're adding A/C make sure you get everything from a '94 - '95 Civic (doesn't have to be from a hatch, coupe and sedan parts are the same for A/C) '92 - '93 Civics used R12 which is pretty much impossible to get now.

I'll look around, thanks for the info. And I'll consider taking a few pictures of it but it's nothing pretty to look at. It's had a cheapy paint job in its past and it has door dings, but it'll do the job for me.

Good to know, thank you very much for that information.

Btw, buy a new reciever dryer, that's something that just shouldn't be reused.

Ok, not exactly sure what that is, but I have a 92-95 Honda Civic and Del Sol Haynes manual from back when I owned the Del Sol so I'll look up all the parts I need to put the A/C in eventually.
