call local autozone/advance. make sure they have the axle in stock.

take your old axle in, give them about 75 bucks.

get the new one with a lifetime warranty, keep the receipt in your glovebox.

Is that after I buy it and install it then take my old axels to them with receipt? Or take off old axels first then buy? Because I'm looking to buy first then take off old axels.

But just woundering anyone else knows what I'm talking about or / thread?

There will be a $35 core charge for each axle. If you don't want to get charged then I say take out your axles and bring them in. If you don't mind being charged the core then just buy the axles and eat the $35 until you finish the axle swap. No need to keep the receipt. Just give them your phone number that you used to buy the axles. If they don't have it in stock then they can order it which takes 2-3 days to arrive. Shipping is free. Also if the hub has it then they can have it transfered the next day. PM me if you need more info.

You buy the axle for $X. If you don't have a part to turn in they also charge you $Y (the core charge). When you return your old part they give you $Y back.

You can avoid paying $Y by bringing the old part in when you buy the new one for $X.

The axles also carry a lifetime warranty. So if it breaks bring that **** back to get another free one. Basically that goes for anything that has a warranty. My favorite warranty is on brake pads. They have a lifetime warranty that includes wear as long as it doesn't reach the metal of the pad.
