I just recently bought a 95 honda civic hatch si. a friend of mine had a 99 acura integra type-r. well he was rear ended and it totaled his car so i bought it from the insurace company and i plan on takeing the motor and putting in the hatch. i have a few questions about it and i was hopeing you all might be able to help me. first JUST by droping the motor in the car what do yall think it should run in the 1/4 mile? second what am i instore for in this project (time, money, etc...)? and finally does anyone have a good web site that sell's parts for cheap? im trying to go all motor. no turbo and no nitrious. any or all help would be great!!! i look forward to talking to everyone

first thing to do is read the rules
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=990205

as for the 1/4 it can be 20 sec or even 13s... it depends on the driver

as for parts being cheap with all motor no such thing

it will probably take u a week to drop that motor in and get it running perfectly if u are new to swaping motors.

Fix the wrecked Teg? Why would you do that as opposed to putting the motor in his hatch? I say get as much from his car and swap over as you can. Take your time and get things done right. Assuming you didn't pay the insurance company too much for the car, I'd say you're lucky! Good luck with the project.

Yeah definately swap that motor over, you will love it. But as said before, be sure to take your time and do things right, not only will you have a pretty quick car, you will learn something.

The seats and the brakes and suspension will bolt in. Make sure you use the Type-R throttle and e-brake cables.

Have fun with your beast .
