I just got a new eurothane *sp* mugen lip and I took my bumper to the body shop to have them repaint it because of some scratches and so i told them to go ahead to slap on the lip. so i call them today because I turned it in last thurs. and it seemed to be taking too long and they said they had trouble putting on the lip and i asked how they put it on and they said with adheasive and no drilling. does this sound a little weird to you guys?? i asked if it would stay and he said "oh yeah it'll be fine thats industrial strength adheasive". do you guys think i should go ahead and bolt it on too when i get it back??

uh yah, sounds wierd to me.

But I've never seen the mugen lip up close to check for predrilled holes or brackets. (Is this the real one?)

Hopefully they didn't bond it to the bumper. It's supposed to be removable, like all other lips.

No its a mugen style and it had no pre-drilled holes. if they bonded it im gonna cry

if its the real mugen lip it should come with pre drilled holes.

it sounds like they bonded it. these things should just bolt right on. you better check up on it.

auto body adhisive is strong as **** i wouldnt worry about is but if your still worried about it when you get it back just put a few screws in it

its mugen STYLE, not a mugen lip, so there probably no predrilled holes...why didn't you just put it on yourself??after havin it painted? just wondering

I decided since they were painting my bumper and i needed the lip painted too that if they did it all at one time i would have them put it on but i think im getting it back today so im gonna put some screws in it. thanks

You should have just gotten them to paint it and you put it on yourself. There should at least be markings where the holes should be drilled. If not, get a buddy to help you line it up.

Real one has brackets and mounts in same holes as stock lip. I used to have one on my Civic Si. But now my brother owns it!

yes sir. the replica also has brackets and screws too. my friend gota replica and his came with brackets and screws to mount in the same spot as the stock lip.

i have a replica and it came with no pre-drilled holes or screws. I was unhappy at first because the cut out wasn't even fitted right, i had to cut it myself.
