new motor few quick questions
ok i have a 95 ex 2 dr that i hydro-locked the motor (don't ask) so I'm replacing it with a D16ZC. the stock motor was a D16Z6 and the questions i have is...
#1 Will the stock computer (don't know the code so if you could inform me of that as well it would great) work with this motor?
#2 I'm replacing the Axles as well are the lifetime warranty ones from advance auto parts any good?
#3 i replaced the clutch with a Stage 3 pro street with a 10 lb fly. Will this brake the axles?
so far i have it lowered about 1-1 1/2 inch don't really know... it has coil-overs and it was slammed for the past year so that is why i need to replace the axles
Thanks for all the help H-T has never let me down

Re: (95jeremie)
the stock computer for your car is a p28.
It should work for the new motor as long as it's an OBD1 SOHC VTEC motor. It may not be the optimum ecu but I would think it should still run fine
