Default new motor deosnt start

so i have a 92 eg hatch with a obd1 b16 in it and a p30 as the ecu . it didnt come with a harness so vaporboy13 made me one with obd1 injector clips on an obd2 harness . for some reason it wont start ......please help

make sure you have all the grounds connected and the ground on the theromstat housing where the thermostat is at

yeah. its suppose to be on with a 10mm bolt to the housing. its near the fan switch on the t-stat housing

does it crank over? or not even crank? Check the voltage of your battery, check fuses, grounds (t-sat housing, tranny to chassis), check the connection to the starter, etc.

it carnks it just wont start , i added 1 more ground but havnt tryed it out yet , as far as voltage i had it conected to my moms car witch was running
i dont think its getting spark , but i dont knopw what would cause that since i checked all the parts off the dizzy and its getting juice its just not putting any out

is your fuel pump turning on? Why are you using anything that is obdII? just use a d16z6 engine harness, its all plug n play besides for the knock which u can hardwire or chip after

yeh the fuel pump is turning on , well im buddy had a harness lying around and i had a jdm obd1 harness lying around so we made a haness that should work .

why would you make a harness that should work because then you would have to go back and double check it works with a voltmeter. Is that really worth the hassle and time over a $100?? Just get a obd1 usdm vtec harness, best bet a ex si 92-95. I have one if you want it but i was gonna end up listing it on ebay either way.

well i baught a harness and he posted it as a obd1 uncut gsr harness well its not what he said so now im down a creak without a paddal

since your getting spark and most likely getting air from the Throttle Body, i just have a feeling something is wrong with your fuel and how it is getting to the engine(which it probably isn't), to prove this right, buy some starting fluid and spray it into the throttle body and have someone else start the car and if it works then you know its a fuel problem.

are u sure ur getting spark.. in the right order?.. maybe crossed some wires when making ur harness?
