Yes, P28 will work fine, thats what i'm using with mine, the only other things you should do are swap the 1 wire O2 that came with the D15B for a 4 wire O2 sensor and either use the old D16Z6 intake manifold or add the purge solinoid to the D15B intake.

ok i see that the headers have a o2 sensor hanging out could i just use my dc headers i have now and hook the up, because the dc one i have does not have a sensor on them the o2 sensor is like under the car some where. and why should i use my old intake manifold and my ecu should just hook right up . cause i need that vtec to work.what timing belt did you use do i get the one for the d16, sorry for asking all these questions my dad a machanic and he only likes american cars im just trying to make him do it right

yes you can reuse your old header, you should resuse your old manifold as it already has the purge solinoid on it, the D15B vtec doesn't have a purge solinoid and the real ecu for that (P08) doesn't expect it to be there, other than that the manifolds are identical, the D15B manifold even has the boss on it for the purge solinoid, you just have to drill and tap the mounting hole and drill the hole for the vacuum line. for the timing belt and water pump use those for D15Z1 ('92 - '95 VX hatchback) 103 teeth i didn't replace my tensioner, probably should have, people have been saying D16Z6 for that out of a '92 - 95 Si hatchback) I've been very happy with my D15B Vtec, i put almost 20,000 kms on it since i got it and it hasn't taken any oil or coolant, best $683 i ever spent.

goes your vtec kick in pretty good. ok i get what you are saying about the header but the header it came with it has the o2 like right in the middle but with my dc header the o2 is like under the car my car wont throw a code will it.so basicllay evertything else is plug and play.

You shouldn't have any problem with that O2 sensor at all in terms of throwing codes, both the D15B Vtec and the D16Z6 share the same stock exhaust manifold, so it stands to reason that if the DC sports header worked on the Z6 it will work on the D15. That engine will preform pretty much the the same as a Z6, a lot of people seem to find them a little better actually, but a lot of that probably has to do with most of the D15s not being worn out. As for vtec, its like any other SOHC honda, you really shouldn't feel it, you should hear the crossover, but it you can actually feel it kick your losing power before vtec, if you put the car on a dyno and look at the graph you'll see a dip in the curve before vtec, you should just have a smooth crossover.

Everything else should be plug and play besides the O2 sensors.

Yes you can, both engines have the same head, D15B vtec is supposed to have a slightly more agressive cam though.

if your changing the intake manifold use a new gasket, new thermostat is never a bad idea, timing belt, water pump, tensioner. Now is the time to do all of this stuff, not when the engines in the car, also would be an ideal time for a clutch. other than that everything should be fine. Good luck and happy swapping
