Default New member wanting to introduce myself

Just joined the site a couple weeks ago and wanted to introduce myself and hopefully become knowlegable about hondas in general just so i can broaden my horizon on these cars... Now at the moment i own a 2006 chevy cobalt ss/sc fully loaded with lsd, recaros, xm, onstar, so forth yada yada yada... Stage 2 full exhaust and some other suspension mods have been done to the car but i thought it was time for me to get ahold of my bills and get a cheaper car....

So iam purchasing here in the next few weeks a 1998 honda civic dx and have it paid off right away which is what im looking for... Hopefully i can learn alot from the members on this site to advise me on the certain mods that are great for this car as iam clueless on the honda aftermarket i just know its HUGE haha... I also have a few friends to help me out on certain things so by no means am i left in the dark..

Hopefully i can learn alot so i wanna thank yall before hand
max

ctr seats front and back, mugen lip kit, spoon cf mirrors, 7 inch dvd headunit, then if i get the car with the b18c1 in it having it fully built to hold more boost, probably some more suspension work, rota bronze wheels, and new brakes and probably some more stuff while im at it

I saw a totally stock looking red '99 EX 2dr last night on black steelies and even a stock muffler, but it had boost guages on the a-pillar inside, it was a dream. So clean, so stock, so sleeper.

Yeah the aftermarket is huge, but only half the parts are worth buying.

Me too, by first car (truck) was a '77 K5 Blazer with a crate 350 and Edelbrock goodies, but the 9mpg turned me off, and I had always known more about Hondas anyway. I knew all the engine codes when I was 13 and always dreamed of having a Civic with a B16.... the dream still lives on lol. At least I have the Civic part.

Honda all the way.
