Im new here on H-T, i dont have much to say, I have a 94 Civic EX that my dad got me (its an auto tho >_< its stock exept for a 3 angle valve job(done myself) and a Magnaflow axle back. Well thats it as far as whats on the car is concerned, but i do have a B16A that my friend sold me for $180, thats right 180. Re: New Kid on HT (westcoast1994)
wat up, yeah i do this every day after school. I pick up valves from local junkyards (mostly B18 D16), and i didnt mention this but piston #3 dropped 2 valves at 7000rpm and made a hole

thats cool you get to do that at autoshop. like damn we didn't get to do cool stuff like that in my class. we were lucky enough to put a tire on a rim. sucks you dropped a valve. 7000 rpm is kind of high for a stock d series engine. good luck getting it back on the road. maybe its time for that b16 swap

Re: (Jtuned DC2)
well usually the stock seat on the head is 45 degrees so I do a 35, 45 on the main seating part of the valve, and a small 60. and for everybody else it wasnt my D16 it was the B16 that dropped the valves.
