New kid on the D16 block
I own a 93 Civic DX coupe with stock 1.5 L engine.
1. I've been browsing through this forum trying to find out exactly which model number the engine is. (D16 something.)
2. Is this engine worth attempting to modify (cams, pistons, springs, etc) or should I start saving nickels and dimes for a B series motor?

obviously u didnt search, no n00bs do. ur engine is d15b7 for one and two i personally dont think any d is worth putting money into although some people make decent power from it, it depends what u wanna do with ur car in the future. FI, n/a, daily driver, track only? i would save my money for a b18c, try doing some searching its been coverd many times

Re: New kid on the D16 block (egcoupe)
dont waste ur money on it...the least you should upgrade to are the d16's.
the a6, z6, y8's are all good...and doesnt cost much....oh, if ur swapping out for any of these try to get an Ex/Si tranny.
if you've got more money, ditch the single cmas and go for a B series.
