New JDM B16A2 swap. Have questions.
Hello all My cousin recently had a JDM B16A2 put in his 1995 Civic EX (2-door) coupe and is interested in doing some modifications, so he came to me with some questions. I'd like to help him out, but I don't know much about this particular engine.
As far as buying parts, are there any specific differences we should be aware of? In particular, he is looking to purchase a header for his car. I've heard that DC Sports makes a good header, but I'm not sure which one we need. Does the JDM B16A2 take a specific header, or will any B16 header work?
Also, he's interested in doing an ECU upgrade/reflash at some point. I believe the ECU code for his car is p30 (from inlinefour.com). Is there a Hondadata program available for his car? What shops carry it, as a Google search turned up nada.
I tried doing some searching here, but I wasn't able to turn up anything with terms like B16A2 or JDM. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

any b16 header will work. and for computer it depends if he is running obd1 or obd2. I know with my 1994 del sol. i have a obd1 car so i got a chipped p28 computer and it runs great.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. That makes things much easier. I'll look into whether his car is ODB I or II and post back here.
