Wow. Didn't notice it was an auto doctored up to look like a standard 5-speed.
The door panels have been butchered for speaker mounting. There's a power wire on the passenger side running from the fender into the dash. Probably for a cheap amp. Speaker wire running from the speakers into the dash from the door. Ebay everything on the exterior.

That's one of the pictures from bloodyhatch another h-t user who does custom work on gauges. His stuff is up in the marketplace all the time...he's usually got some pretty nice stuff for good prices.

Gauges are the nicest thing in the car. Actually that pic has been snatched from Photobucket. It's shot with the exact same lighting Bloody Hatch uses to photograph his gauges.
Found the place he swiped this image from. It's the JDM CRV Cluster (CF/M).
Compare this pic
to this one (11th from top).

Re: New to HT
Well just look two pictures up from the crv cluster and you can see he still has the stock auto cluster in it. Looks like all the pictures were the same day so I doubt he swapped it before the last one was snapped.

Re: New to HT
actually I bought it off bloody hatch on ********.com and yes it is all ebay but have any of you ever compared ebay to oem?? I have and there is no thing as an ebay lips kids... ebay makes no lips, manufacturers sell lips on ebay. and yes and you can all feel free to check my more recent posts on thejdm.com or ********.com(jams_ek on thejdm.com and sohc_lover on ********.com) to see that these pictures are not taken in the same day. the pics are over a three month span and are all about a year old. All others I talked to on other sites stay to stay clear of H-T but I thought the were over reacting. maybe you guys should ask some questions before you start talking **** on other people not everybody has a bunch of money to dump into there cars.. besides the fact that its just a d.d. and the car is an auto and looks nothing like a manual the boot was on there when I bought the car and theres a button on the top of the shifter.... so wow...nice guys very nice... and now that i'm sure everybody is gonna talk **** even more allow me to help you out... start bashing ...................................now

Re: New to HT
I think I will.
You bought it? A 5-speed cluster for an auto? Then why not take your own pics instead of swiping a random one off of the internet. Fail.
There is NO comparison of Ebay parts to OEM. None. There may not be an Ebay brand but that's pretty much what you call cheap no name poorly made knock offs that Ebay sells and that you seem to love to buy. A daily driver? Then leave it as is if you can't afford to put real parts on your car and show it more respect than you do. It's like those pet owners that like to dress up their dogs in stupid little outfits. Only YOU think it looks good. Not everything bought off of Ebay is crap but you seem to have cornered the market on the cheap stuff.
Second you posted this in the tech forum when there's an Appearance forum where you can post this crap in all day long and probably get flamed even worse. M3 mirrors. Hood Pins. Fake cannards. Crappy wiring.

Re: New to HT
Ebay has been compared to OEM...and "ebay lip" is a reference to a lip purchased from a mass manufacturer or half-assed products with very little attention to detail.
"Ebay lips" have poor fitment...your lip has poor fitment so it seems to be one of those. On the left side of the second picture you can see the gap between your lip and bumper.
The "ebay grill" has bad fitment as well. There is a significant gap between the bottom of the grill and the bumper. You would not find this in OEM. Also to be noted....you have an RS badge on your grill...you do realize that's for a ferio right? That would be a 4 door...not a 2 door...and if you did have a 4 door...the placement of the badge is still way too close to the center.
I'm pretty nice and helpful on here...but don't come here raising hell about how "ebay" products are the same as OEM...and getting all high and mighty on us with whatever status you have on other forums...and hating on h-t.
Are those DA teg seats? Curious if they are how you got them to fit...and for the love of god...clean your seats with some foam cleaner or something it looks like a wet dog sat in them.
If you do have that gauge cluster...then nice. Bloody Hatch does good work.

I didn't even notice the mirrors or hood pins...guess I just got worked up about how "ebay" parts are equiv to OEM.

Re: New to HT
Jams.
If you want to put fake parts all over your car, and not paint match them, and make your car look like a pile of rags then go for it. Just don't expect to post cell phone pictures of your "ride" on a public forum and not expect criticism.
You posted your car on a public forum. Therefore it is subject to public opinion.
This isn't little league where everyone is a winner. Your car looks like a pile of steaming Korean parts.
Anyone can drop $400 on ebay and slap some unpainted parts on their car.
It will never look good if you just slap parts on there without some interest behind it.
You've got hood pins, for what reason? Usually it's to secure aftermarket and lightweight hoods.
Your seats look insane. Like two different seats, the stock seats I'm sure look better and are probably more comfortable.
The foglights you have don't fit. Quality aftermarket fog lights can be had for about $100 and OEM fog lights can be bought from parts dealers for about $150.
There is so much random on your car it's ridiculous.
You could have spent less money than you have on your car buying some nice OEM wheels, a decent suspension, and scouring the internet for a good deal on an OEM civic 99-00 lip and get it paint matched for about $100 and your car would look 20x better by the opinion of most of the people on this board.
You're trying WAY too hard at a hobby you clearly can't afford.
Keep it simple and your car will look a lot better.
