new to hondas... on the hunt...
hello. i'm new to honda owning, and was wondering where to find some things. first i'm looking for fenders for a 93 del sol si with the amber side markers, and second i have seen some del sols on here with carbon fiber trunks...where'd you get em and how much did they run? sorry for the noob questions but i'm trying to get as much info as i can so i build my car right the first time. thanks in advance.
oh yeah and also the del sol's with the yellow fog/accessory lights...are those replacements or just a film/paint over the oem ones? thanks again

H22 huh? You better research first. Not really the ideal swap for DIY, stick with a B series engine if you plan to do it at your house. If you need some fenders, cause yours are messed up, then yeah look for JDM ones, that are already cut for the sidemarkers, if your fenders are fine, just buy the side markers, they go for $30ish brand new, and install them in the OEM location. They are everywhere, just ask me if you have trouble finding a place that sells them. CF trunklids are made by a few companies now days. ViS, Carbon Creations, to name a few... and just SEARCH. Trust me, on H-T, the search works well, just make sure to click on the archive dot to also include all the older stuff, cause these forums move fast. Oh and you have to use at least 3 letters to search by. Hit me up if you got any specific questions, I got the time to help you, unlike a lot of others!

you dudes are gnarly! haha i've done some motor swappin before (b16 into an ef, and b18 into a hatch. and an ej20 into a 2.5rs subie and a 6 bolt swap into a tsi...all friends cars, not mine) so is the h22 a big swap? just curious how hard it is. i'll def use the search button, thanks for all your help guys.

you just need to do more wiring than a b-series drop, and get special mounts for it, just read about it, i doubt it's THAT hard, considering there's plenty of H22 swaps around
good luck!

Re: (axtran)
With an H22, you get to cut a hole in the floor for the cables to go into the cable shifter assembly, and you get to order custom axles from now on as well, and what about your AC if you have any, or power steering? Little things do count sometimes.

Re: (flaps)
my original plan was H22 but if you get an aftermarket harder and you drive in the city alot... like myself and with a lowered car ur asking for trouble... preludes sit up higher than civics so... i couldnt be happier with my B18 though... im estimating about a 14.3-14.5 when i take it to the track... i beat my buddys Dodge Dakota RT with true duals and everything and some guy on his forum has matching mods ran a 14.6 so...
