New to the Honda world
Hey there all. My name is Brock and I recently purchased a 1993 Honda civic lx. I picked up the car from my old youth pastor and he had taken the car to shops for reasons of the thing overheating. They replaced the motor, tranny, clutch, and whole front end ( brakes, ball joints, allingment and so on). Any ways I get it from him for 1000 dollars and all it needed was a water pump. basically it was a FREE CAR.
I recently sold my 89 lx 5.0 mustang for the so called "TUNER WORLD". I love this little thing. great gas milage and it handles 10000000000000 times better than that overpowered beast I had.

The car already has eichbach? lowering springs. They are green. Exhaust and I just put a CAI on it yesterday. I plan in the next year to be running a turbo. Just thought that I would chime in and I will post some pics when I get the chance. Its white 4 door, 5-speed 1.5L and thats about all that I know. If you know more teach me please.

If you plan on going turbo, don't bother with the cold air intake yet - not worth the upgraded throttle response.
(One thing you'll have to get used to is where on a 309 a magnaflow dual exhaust system will gain you 30hp - here it will give you 5...maybe....
It'll be like 20 when you're boosted, but an all motor stock B7 gains are minimal.
Same with the intake - bolt-ons have little effect on 4 bangers.

Re: (Syndacate)
Don't waste your time on that motor, unless you turbo it. But even then it might just be as quick as your mustang. Look into a single cam vtec motor (d16z6 or d16y8) for a little extra pep, and somewhat stronger for boost. They can be had for under 500 with a trans if you look around. I'm selling a rebuilt d16z6 for 300, there pretty cheap.
Everything you could want to know is on this site, so just look around and you'll figure out how to turbo that thing.

That is what you are all for. I had a honda in high school and loved it. It was an 86 accord. I sold the mustang for two reasons. AND ONLY THESE. We just baught the wife a new 2007 ford fusion, and needed the money for a down payment. As far as the whole D/B 16/17 or whatever you guys are talking about I AM A TOTAL RETARD TILL I START TO LEARN THIS STUFF. Ask me about a ford and I will never shut up. I am looking to get into the "Tuner world". I will post some pics of the car when we get moved this next weekend.
