Default new to forum 95 civic dx

hey all, been looking through these forums for a while learning more and more everyday about my civic. just thought i'd hop in and register. I am new to the Honda scene and am still learning. I never have any extra money, due to me still being in highschool (senior) and having a part time job and paying insurance, phone, etc so I do not have any major mods done yet. Well, anyways, heres my car:

95 civic dx d15b7

-Cut Springs (2 coils front, 3 rear)
-Short Ram Intake
-Cherry Bomb Glass Pack Muffler
-Tachometer
-Front and Rear Tower Strut Bars
-Tinted Windows
-Short Throw Shifter

I know it is nothing compared to most of the cars here, but its a start.

I am open to all positive and negative comments/suggestions.

its clean. keep it that way

best advice for someone who is new is to use the search button alot. Before you want to post a thread about this or that think for a second was it in fast and furious? if it was then dont post it.

NEVER cut springs!!! You can even see that the camber is off in the pictures. You must go through tires every three months! A couple of suggestions from me, but do what you want, it's your ride, so remember that. Remove the pin striping, and put some amber corners on, maybe look into red/clear(not euros) tail lights, and a set of real lowering springs.

Yea, you should ditch the cut springs and at least go back to stock. cut springs are bad news

looks nice and thankfully not riced out Get some si, gsr blades, or gsr fat fives, for around $300 with tires and roll around like that for awhile.

That camber isn't bad at all. Mine is much worse and I have camber kits on everything...

A lot of people don't like them, but look at Rota Circuit 8's, maybe 16's. They look good on milano red 5th gens.

Thanks for the comments

Cut springs arent as bad as people think. They ride like stock height. Sure, the camber is off, but rear camber is an easy fix, and im going to get a kit for the front.

Like I said earlier, i am on a very tight budget, so anything over 100 bucks right now is a no no

That's a tight budget... and cut springs are bad. I've ridden in my friends DC with them. The ride is ******* horrible.

the ride, for me, hasn't changed AT ALL. same as stock.

the car has some minor cosmetic problems. need a trim piece, passenger side mirror, inside window crank...

i really enjoy driving it though.

you can find good springs for less than a hundred if you look around..
i suggest you invest in some.

other than that, welcome to H-T

also and just a suggestion, you should try and get some wheels.. even if there just hammer's, swirlie's, or Si's

I would say don't do much inquiring about something you're not ready to buy, so start saving (more than $100) then ask questions.

Haha- I just said, "accurate guess." Isn't that an oxymoron?
