new exhaust, sticking out too far!! anyone using civic cat w/swap??
I'm having this problem and I would like to know if anyone else is having the same issue. I got pulled over yesterday for having a semi-loud exhaust so today i reinstalled my 2 1/4" exhaust which i had on before my swap. after putting it on, i look at the back to see my exhaust sticking out way too far! now i'm wondering if anyone has this problem and has tried swapping back the civic cat? i know this isn't a performance issue but damn, IT LOOKS UGLY!!

i have a 95 coupe and i used the oem civic cat and my exhaust never moved.

my exhaust never moved
I have a 96+ EX cat, 2 1/4" piping , magnaflow muffler... the EX cat is bolted up to my GSR downpipe to...

damn, thanks guys! seems like i'm gonna have to get myself a civic race cat now. hmmm...for some unknown reason, my 2 1/2" exhaust fit perfect w/the integra race cat. oh well, i'll either shorten the downpipe or get a new cat.
