New EJ8 owner
Hey fellas (please recognize this as a generic term that includes any females on this forum ).
I've been out of the game for a couple years... I've been itching to have another Honda and this became available for a rediculously low price.
So, here's my new project. Pretty much the plan is just to restore it... any mods are currently up in the air.
Leaving the shop I bought it from:
Both sides and the back end are in good shape:
The SOHC monster
A lot to do

agreed, but if you can get that front end/frame back to par than that'd be one good restoration. other than the front, it looks like you've got a pretty decent car on your hands.
good luck dude

Yeah, I've been going through that thread for the past week since I made the deal on this, for inspiration... figured I'd make sure everything was gonna work out well before I'd join

I guess you can't beat it for $300, but your pops better know how to do a lot of Tech work, and have A LOT of time on his hands

Re: (.PLUMMM)
worth 300 bucks to me...good deal you got Its gonna take some work, but if you dont think it can be saved or you can do it...you could just part it out for more money then you spent on the whole car

thanks all.
Pops is semi-retired now, currently just building his new garage.
I'm not in a super hurry to get this done, but I would like to be driving it within 6 months or so.
I figured the same thing... if we get into it and it's too much trouble I could easily part it out for more than I paid.
I'll post updates as I go.

It was open when the accident happened... the battery hasn't been hooked back up to avoid the possibility of any type of electrical short. Once we start tearing into things I'll get it closed back up.

Re: Re: (AMG)
Your pops may be good with body work, but you're going to need a frame alignment rack for that. I guarantee that the frame rail is smashed horribly on that one.
Youd be better off parting the car out. There's probably $1000 in parts in that car easy.
Either way good luck with it.
