Do not buy a whole new throttle body. It could be a vacum leak, the idle screw, bad sensors, but a whole new throttle body is not going to solve the problem.

what the F*** is a fast Idel valve, lolol man these wack *** pepl. always try to rip you off. for one you don't need to get a new throttle body, they rarely ever go bad. I have yet to see one. try this and then go from there. on your throttle body when your looking at it from the open side(where the intake pipe goes into) if you look to the top left of the throttle body, at the left corner, you'll see a little hole and it it is the air adjustment for your air flow in the throttle body, get a flat head screw driver and start to adjust it untel it sound better. well start from there and then hit me up, I got some more things if that don't work.

Do this before you get a new throttle body.

BTW, 3 years and you still call it "VTECH" and not "VTEC"?

BTW, it's a D15B7 motor.

I had this problem in my old d16y8. One of my vacuum lines had come off of my intake manifold according to my mechanic.
