Default new d-series project

well the other day i was looking into na setupsand i know from experience that itbs are greatfor a nasa/scca car with the right tuning. (im currently tuning with chrome for future reference)

the more i looked into i dont want to do dual throttle bodies, ive had personal experience with them and i dont want to go that way. but i was thinking about doing a dual throttle body system using all oem honda ****. butchering 2 manifold and welding many parts (i have my own mig and tig welders and yes i know how to use em) and fabbing up a full system using all the sensors from one TB that way i would all the oem sensors but the iacv which i can make the backs of the runner flast in order to incorperate the iacv into it if i feel like it, i only see a few things on honda tech but nothing using stock **** and when there is a pic of talk of it theres nothing actually talking about the systems the people have built in the past only pics.

this will be going on my 95 eg d16z6 scca solo and nasa car so im looking into new **** for a bit more power but still staying in the guidlines for my class. which is why i want to do dual tb since im allowed to modify my intake mani to pretty close to what i want. plus minimal fuel upgrades to compensate for the intake mani

any info any of u would be willing to share?

So you want it to be more like a half-way ITB setup? I'm not sure if its worth it, especially NA, unless the d-series head is ported to the n-th degree. Even a stock 56mm TB is larger than most other OEM's 3.0L motors, so a 62mm B-series unit will usually be more than enough.

I'd still love to see this weird setup. Are you thinking one above/below stock location, a dual-sidedraft location, or verical like a d16y7 mani setup?

well im going to be using a slightly port n polished head that i had a friend make for me a while back, ill be pairing that with a jg stage 3 head kit and using 12.7:1 pistons. ill be running a few extra fuel upgrades that will also be supported by my current msd ignition system.

im still drafting plans for the mani. im trying to decide whether i want to do it like the y7 mani, but the more i think of it i want to do more of a sidedrft option with a set of 90* filters to accomodate the hood i will be using. (theres a scoop above the intake on the hood im picking up)
