New civic...
Hi friends...
After a long fight with my EG8 I think I am going to give it up. The car is kinda like a lemon but it's more my fault it's this way because I could have caught the problems with a more thorough inspection of the vehicle when I got it. Lets see..
Mushy Brakes
Extra Soft Suspension
Oil-leaking d15b7 engine
Automatic Transmission
Dented hood
Has been repainted and paint is chipping off near door handle
Paint bubbling around rear wheel well, and a rusting in places
Interior is that beige/light brown color
Lack of acceleration power is a safety hazard when merging onto the highway
Along with those things I personally don't like the exterior or interior as much as I do that of a EK. I think that getting a totally new car would be better than fixing this one because I am going away to school here soon and I definitely would not have the tools or money to repair these problems away from home.
I love the color of the car, the opal green metallic is great, and it is my first car so I have a bond with it, but its just not good enough for me right now. Most of the posts I make here on Honda-Tech are to address problems I am having with it; Why just yesterday I pulled my Densos and they came out drenched in Oil I'm like wtf.
So I am thinking since this car is such a hazard I should part it out down to the very last nut and bolt and shoot for a 96-00' EX Sedan. With that clean slate I can just go up rather than down.
What do you guys think I should do?

Re: New civic... (EL Vap133)
Ok Ok, I get it now. I am really sorry about that. I really thought I posed in the EG forum and that you guys were telling me it should be in General Discussion and Debate. Aparently it was in the CRX forum. Sorry about that!
