Default New Car

My bother said he'd give me his 95' Honda Civic 4dr when I get my liscense. Since I wont have to pay what mods should I get. I was thinking just a hood, some wheels and a CB wing to start.

if its your first car and its auto. i would drive it first and see how u like it. so far all my friends who got their first car that was auto felt dissapointed in it and now they want manual. no point wasting all your hard earned money to become dissapointed later on. its not really worth converting the car to manual its alot of work and expensive. but then your getting the car for free im gessing so its up to you.

new advice:
do basic maintainace to keep the car running while you SAVE SAVE SAVE. in the mean time read on here to see what you like, then sell the car and buy what you like and mod it according to what you've learned (i suggest 92-95 hatch with GSR swap)

dood, do what you think looks good on your specific car, and dont do what everyone else on this site does. Im not saying it doesnt look good, but "JDM" is becoming just as common a look as "rice". Its getting harder and harder to be original and if you want a hood and wing and whatnot, go for it. I would have to agree with the engine/tranny swap though. Somethings are just "must haves"...engine is one of them...

goodl uck
