Icon2 New build Help

Hi everyone,

So I am really new to Honda's in general and there is a lot I do not know. I have does research over and over and I have put together a parts list of everything I can think of for a steet / road course build. I want this to be rock solid and be able to handle anything I can throw at it. I want the internals and supporting mods to be able to handle up between 500 and 600HP. I will want to have a normal tune of about 250 to 300 whp but be able to turn up the boost or change the computer map to get up to between 500 and 600 in the future. I do not have a turbo listed and am wondering your input as to what direction to go in for that. I also may be going in an incorrect direction as well with all of this. I was planning on building a b18 or b20 block and head.

Below is the parts list so far. Can you guys look over it and give me your thoughts on what else I need to add to it? I wan this to be the most reliable possible. Everything listed I have sourced from a couple sites and if I am getting worked over on the price please let me know as well. I really appricate all of your help and all of your comments. Price is not really an option here but I dont want to spend more than 30 grand total if I can avoid it.

Build a car to what you want to do or sanctioning body of autosports you want to run in.
Refrain from building something that might be illegal to run in most classes.
pick a class and check the CCR's to see what you can do with your car.
If you want to RR i suggest run a stock engine now.
Get seat time.
Suspension, tires, brakes should be your focus, not how fast you want it to go.
Its a fast driver that makes the car go fast, not a fast car and a mediocre driver with little or no experience.
You mention nowhere about any track experience so im assuming you dont have much.
If thats your goal, to hit track then seat time seat time seat time should be focus not building the car yet.

I do have some track time in both a 1g DSM and a 2g DSM however, I am more looking for something that will be rock solid that I can use as a daily driver. I am not looking for any specific regulated racing classes and things of that nature. About the most racing I will do is randomly taking it to the drag track or the road track for open laping days and test and tune days. My main driving will be hwy way and mountain driving.

TL:DR but I did see the darton sleeves so i'm assuming you'll be boosting or some crazy all motor set up ? DD you say i'd go with a k24a2 w/k20a2 or z3 head maybe some forged internals.

I plan on running a good ammount of boost to get the HP on the high end I was hoping someone on here mite point me in the direction of a good turbo for a b-series engine. something that spins up and gives a good boost mid to high rpm range. With the vlave train I picked I would think I can easily hit the 9k rpm range safely but i dont know the b-series very well so I am looking for experience to chime in. Dont get me wrong I know someone is going to say "research" and trust me I have read a lot of stuff and im sure you all will agree half or more of it is people arguing back in fourth about x and y set up and why x is better than y and all that. I just am looking for some direction and some insight as to if what I have spected out is on the right path or not.

Holy hell 700 on stock internals is crazy that's on par with dsm's I have messed with in the past. I plan on buying all new internals and building the motor new. Is the k series as easy to swap in as b?

Nope sadly not,it requires more work/money to do but imo is worth it k20's have tons of potential and bolt on's yield more noticeable results then a B series does. unless you want to boost a b series which can be done for the price of a k swap if you source your parts good.
