New axles for my 95 Dx Auto. A few questions.
Ok so I just ordered new axles for my civic because my old ones are done. My question is do I need to get AT fluid and if so what kind do I get? I tried sreaching but there is little to no info on auto transmissions. I did see that the general rule when adding fluid is to only use Honda ATF fluid. Is this true for my civic as well? Do I need to add fluid when I get the axles changed? Thanks for the help.

sometimes when you are doing only one side, if you jack the car up high enough you can avoid any leakage. since it sounds like you are doing both side, then yes you will need to add auto tranny fluid.
as far as honda's ATF, it might be pricey. go to your local parts store. they should be able to tell you what weight.
good luck!

It's not pricey. And there's no "weight".
If you've never had the fluid changed, now is a good time.
Yes, only use Honda ATF. But more importantly, fill it correctly! The method for checking ATF fluid level is unusual. Drive the car a short distance, make sure the engine is at operating temperature. Park on a flat surface, shut down the engine, and within one minute, wipe the dipstick and put it back in and then check the level. If you overfill the tranny, it will not shift right and it will actually break down faster than if you under-fill it.
