Default New 97 EX Owner Here!

Hey whats up all? I just picked up my 97 EX about a week and a half ago while vacationing in Florida. Its great so far. Fixed some minor things, looking forward to toying some more. Only thing so far that pisses me off is about putting my Kenwood in there and keeping the factory keyless....Any good suggestions on where to mount the factory head unit?

So anyway, I'm 20 from Canton Ohio....I used to live down the street from this little chump on here who goes by SupaDupaMikey hehe. But he lives in Florida now. Aside from my Civic, I have a 98 CBR 600 F3, but its not near as fast as my civic (heh, yeah right).

Well anyway, could someone who has a carfax account run a report for me??
Also, could a moderator or someone give me privelage to reply to threads?

Thanks all!

Try leaving the stock deck way inside the climent control or deep inside the dash. Welcome to H-T.

I dont know how crazy I want to go with it.....where do you think I should start? Its got 82k and its a 5speed. Here's a couple pics I snapped while I was thinking about buying it. http://pages.sssnet.com/slater/civic Does anybody know what those wheels are from? I'm thinking Pontiac Grand Am or something....so I suppose one of the first things I'll do is get some new wheels....

oh yeah, one more quick thing I've noticed....after going in to 2nd between 2500-4k I'm getting a little bounce. The clutch isn't slipping I dont think, because the RPMs dont jump or anything....could this be a worn pressure plate or something? or something hesitating in the engine?

That's a clean stereo install kit. Where did you get that from?? Also you can just put the factory one back in the dash, on the floor in the center, bolt it down somehow. You can buy a harness or something to keep your keyless and domelight. (w/o the stock radio domelight won't work)

those look like ford ZX2 escort wheels.
