the first mods for my em1 were suspension and intake. i would put the stock lip on and leave the spoiler off. then work on suspension.

finally... spend every cent you can on go fast goods

you should get a good suspension setup, such as springs/coilovers and shocks or full coilovers

I think i would be interested in about a 1.8 inch drop with springs. Is this a good choice? would i need anything else with this set up? and what springs would you recomend? what price is good for a painted lip?

Do suspension first!! then other bolt-on in any order..
I'll get the front lip spoiler but stay away from the rear wing....make sure you save money$$$ for turbo or built internal if you want to go fast!!

If you have $$$ go with coilover kit
I have the fully adjustable Tokico illumina R kit and loves the level of adjustabilities!! only cost me a total of $725
But a spring is decent,..not reccomend though!!

Good deal... When I got mine it already had springs so the suspension was good enough to get by. The very very first thing I did was install the alarm and get an autolock. Next I tinted the windows. Then I went to the speed aspect. Bottom line, SI's are heavy and the b16 is very very torqueless so don't expect tremendous speed out of it. But they can be real fun. I got a CAI, DC 4-2-1 CC header, and Magnaflow catback. Also did little things like Irridium plugs and, new wires, and an oil change to Mobil 1.

$750 for tokico coilovers?
i'm sure they're great.

But for the man with the new Si. Check out TEIN suspension systems.
Particularly TEIN FLEX coilovers.. those are great.

start with your suspension 1st and get a feel for the way the car drives b4 any engine mods.

your thoughts on ground control coilovers? i will use stock struts and will drop it no more than 2 inches.

i had an alarm put in about a week ago.

I'd go with h&r springs n koni yellow adjustable struts if your going to do suspension, bc its a good ride, no bouncin up n down and the struts you can adjust to make it stiff for track or soft for the streets.
