Neuspeed Sport spring question
do these springs need to be compressed to be installed?
why i'm wondering is that i just got my suspension parts ordered and will have to install it all next week. the problem is i don't have air tools, and i've done 3 spring installs with hand tools and never want to crank on spring compressors again. i'm pretty sure i can safely take apart the spring/strut oem assembly, but not sure if it'll be easy to put the neuspeed sport springs on with having em compressed.
any suggestions are welcome. i don't have the cash to pay to have this done, and i hate not doing the work myself.

Yes they must be compressed.
your pretty much fucked if you don't want to compress them your self and dont want to take them to get compressed by a shop.
It's like 15 buck too rent a spring compressor . Just rent one and do it.

no they dont need to be compressed.
neuspeed race springs and even sport springs are dropped with less coils that they DO NOT need to be compressed to have them installed.
when removing the stock oem springs they MUST be compressed. be careful when doing this. autozone rents compressors for free with a deposit, and then u get ur deposit back. it is very easy to put the neuspeeds in when your getting ready to finish up. just make sure its seated properly on the perch.
its not hard to do it. it might seem intimidating, but its actually quite easy.
let me know if you need any kind of help.

Re: Neuspeed Sport spring question (Pariah)
when my friend did my Neuspeed springs he didn't have to compress them, but put a little pressure on them you and someone else can do it with no problem.

alright, i had a mechanic compress the springs for me, and then i did everything else. the neuspeed springs do NOT need to be compressed. just for future reference for everyone.
here's a picture of what it looks like now. i'm very pleased with everything.
and the wheels are being sold in the next few weeks to a friend. i'm still undecided on what to get.

being that i just quit my job and all that suspension stuff is brand new, i'm really set back for money at the moment. let me know what he wants for the tails. i already have an exhaust sytem en route for my car, and i have an intake. if it's an aem or something good with mounting brackets, i may be interested. let me know what he wants if he's gonna be reasonable.
