'96-00 Civic rates are 485f/395r, so the '92-95 rates are probably similar if not the same.

From Danny at Neuspeed...

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">The more aggressive Race kit features a working rate of 435 lb/in up front and 330 lb/in in the rear.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I emailed them about the Race and the Sport spring rates a couple weeks ago. If anyone cares the Sports rates are 230F/130R. Hope that helps.

Did he happen to mention whether they were progressive or linear rates?

I know Neuspeed Sports are progressive, but many "race" springs are linear so I was wondering which type the Neuspeed Race springs are . . .

I'm pretty sure the race springs are progressive.

Really? Stiffer up front Vs. the rear? That seems odd.

He did not mention whether they were progressive or linear. I did just email him again with that question and will post the response as soon as I get one. I believe they are linear. I had them on an EK hatch I used to own and they never seemed to change from rock hard, so I wouldn't think they were progressive. I also wouldn't think there would be a difference between the EK and EG in that regard. I could be full of crap, though. We'll find out.

I personally don't think so.

I really don't know of any aftermarket suspension kits that come with stiffer rear rates as default. Just about every kit out there has stiffer front rates for safety purposes. Most people aren't smart or skilled enough to daily drive a neutral-handling or oversteer-biased car on the street.

That's a great point, and I honestly hadn't thought about it in that regard.

I got the response from Danny already...

So it turns out I'm not full of crap after all!
