Default Needs help 98 F23A1

Thanks for viewing the topic...

I am planning to swap the 98 F23A1 because of its price
and not ~$3500 for the GSR or ~$2500 for the H22.

I have a few questions:

1. Is it OBDII (2)?
2. Will the 98 F23A1 fits the 98 civic with mounts?
(because I only saw H23 and not F23)
3. What axle will fit the 98 civic? (same as H22's?)
4. wirings?
.
.
.
Thank you for helping AND attempt on helping.

Where are you getting it from? How much? If you get a good deal on one you can pretend it is a h22. You will need the mount kit from hasport, 90-93 accord intermediate shaft, 90-93 teg axles, wiring....etc. Shoud be just like h22, but I have never done one.

i have been told by reputable ppl that the block design for the f23 and h23 are virtually the same...and yoiu could at a later time install a dohc head... i am going to do some more research on this...i have access to an f23 and an h23 head...don't know if its true or not...will find out..
