An alarm is an alarm. They all basically have the same "safety" fuctions as any other alarm. If you're asking me what I think about an ALPINE SEC.2 car alarm, I'm sure it works.

Me to, sadly I am on my third remote. Threw the first one and the second one died(making me break into my truck and Unplug the brain). The one that died was replaced for free.
