all depends on how loud you want it to be.

hell you might as well just dump it out the sides, or something. becuase your car will likely find itself loving the limpmode setting, from goofing around with your exshaust resistance like that. get a new cat, and get a better muffler if you want to change your sound.

it wont go into limp from exhuast resistence.....................................if your cat is clogged then you will gain a huge gain in horsepower, itll be pretty loud, i had a glasspack and muffler striahgt through with no resanots or anything on a turbo motor it was pretty loud,

but keep in mid the turbo is a resantor in its self,

and backpressure is a myth so none of this you need backpressure or your rings will explode, yopur head will rip off the block and walk down the street and start eating people, type **** please people

wouldn't it sound raspy of there are no types of baffles in the exhaust. I've seen a couple people using their stock exhaust w/ no resonator and they sound bad. Just my 2 cents.

imo, keep the cat, its purpose is to convert NOx and CO to N2 and CO2, not a restriction to noise level. i say just put on the itr exhuast.

I have header, 2.5 inch stainless piping to a fart can and its loud as hell. I mainly race this car so it "looks" stock. Mine was custom fitted/welded though.
No cat and only a muffler will cause a raspy sound. You might as well run a cat and side exit.

If I were to drive this car on the roads I would opt for an 18" resonator and a better muffler.

We don't need cats here and there are way bigger problems in the earth than my 4 cyl honda with no cat.

i live in an area where modded trucks are the ****, you know like the 3500 disels

they run those power chips, no exhuast, bigger turbos and just spit out black smoke worst thing is they are everywhere, yet they crack down on honda cars with integra swaps?

Do yourself a favor and replace the cat and slap the ITR muffler on there, but dont freak out when your exhaust starts to make that weird "rattling" sound because of the baffles in the exhaust and a larger than stock diameter pipe.

Look for the one that says, "thanks", puts her clothes back on and then proceeds to leave... locking the door behind her

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, what sounds good to somebody can sound like **** to somebody else.

****, don't believe me? Find somebody with a mustang and ask 'em how good ur car sounds.
