Default Need tranny advise really quick

Ok, I have a 95 Civic 1.5 sohc non-vtec, i need a tranny ASAP, a guy offered me a 97 del sol tranny motor is a d16y7, will that tranny work with my motor bolt up and everything, just wanna get sure before i buy tomorrow, don't have all the motors figured out yet so I'm still askin around

yes as long as it is a 92-00 civic tranny (except 00si and del sol vtec) it will work.

However, the Y7 will have longer gears than the B7 and your car will be slower.

yea it should, but id be careful in buying a used tranny... a lot of people get hosed*
