need tires for EK & want toyo's - only size is 215/40/16. will I rub?
I know the only real way to answer this question is to mount the tires & try it out. Hopefully somebody here has had personal experience.
I am in desparate need of tires & want to get toyo t1-s (good dry grip w/great wet grip) I have 16x7 volk te-37s & toyo does not offer a 205 width tire with a low profile - so that leaves me with 215/40/16s
Car is currently @ stock height but I have a set of tein flex going in - I plan to keep ride height slightly above recommended drop (~1.5-1.75" drop)
anyone know if I am going to rub like crazy?
any advice or opinions (including alternatives) would be greatly appreciated
(& yes i did search & found 215 is NOT suggested for EG's but the aspect of those tires was 45 not 40)

I have 215/45/16 Falken Azenis tires on my hatch. (Click my sig) The only tire that rubs is the drivers side when I turn really hard to the left - It rubs my control arm. For daily driving I have no problem. I have Skunk 2 coilovers on stock struts.
