Need Tire Suggestions
 

Here's my setup: 93 EH w/b18c1. I have 99 Civic Si with the bald stock Michelin tires on them and they have absolutely no tread on them whatsoever. My budget is about $70-90 a tire and I'm looking for something with a good ride/grip. I don't drive my car in winter or in the rain so I guess I'm looking for a good dry/summer tire setup. These tires will be mounted on my the Si wheels that I currently own.

the Falken Azenis is a pretty good dry asphalt tire my buddy has them ands loves them.

Bridgestone Potenza S-03's....not recommended for winter use...

Pole position S-03's ...hells yes...Falken Azneis are a very nice tire as well.

Also BFGoodrich G-Force(not the drag radial but the auto x tire).

S-03's and the BFGoodrich will run you out of your price range most likely though.

FM901's good, S03's betta, Azenis best..
Try looking into the new Toyo Proxes 4, i heard those were really good, and cheap

Just put a pair of these on the front of my 99 SI.

I have ran Kumho 711's and 712's but never autocrossed either of them. On the 1/4 they did ok but were hard to keep from spinning and with the spinning came nasty hopping.

I autocrossed on ES100's on the front and 712's on the back last week and I must say that there were a few times I got brave and came into the cones harder than I though the car could handle and the ES100's never lost grip at all. Plus in the rain when driving around they don't spin a whole lot. The Kumho's would break loose at the top of second if I was getting on it, the Yoko's have never done this even when getting on it hard in the rain.

I am sold on the ES100's and for $72 mounted and balanced each at America's Tire you can't beat it. They have a killer tread pattern and are supposed to get pretty high miles out of them. I have read a few rumors that they are a lighter tire too but never anything to back this up.
