Hmm thats gonna be hard to beat.Trying going with Skunk2 manifold, good set of cams all the bolt ons and some good tires.I think an H22 eg runs low 14's high 13's and your Ek should be doing mid 14's.

Okay for real though, so facts/specs would be nice from your end so we could better help your cause.
Like what type of 1/4 mile times have each of you ran in the past?
Got any dyno numbers?
I usually don't allow car X vs. car Y topics so if this one even gets borderline it's getting the padlock.
We've already got some other H22A vs. GS-R type topic going around too, so that doesn't help your case here.
1/4 mile times and dyno numbers, or else this one might not last through the rest of today.

Well in most cases I'd say that on PAPER the H22A hatch should win pretty handily, but we don't know what each car is capable of do we?
I've seen some hackjob B18C1 swaps with no secondaries hooked up and CEL lights on, and we all know that the H22A swap isn't the easiest to get running properly now is it?
I'd say that the H22A in general is one of the most inconsistent swaps from car to car because there are a lot of them that run low 14's on slicks while some dip low 13's high 12's on slicks.
Again there are too many variables to factor in, thus my seemingly stupid first reply to this topic.
This is exactly why I'll probably lock this by the end of the day.

quick answer.................."you need nos". That with help. Other wise I think it's a dumb topic. Too many variables to deal with. You may not know how to drive or what side-stepping the clutch is, maybe he dosent know how to drive, maybe tour tires suck. ANYTHING. I think it should be locked as well. To many varibles.

this sort of reasoning can apply to most hybrids so lets just be realistic shall we.

I am being relaistic bro.
Your Dx hatch runs 13.8 on slicks while there's another guy here on H-T, NorthernXposure, that runs 13.5 on drag radials in a heavier Si hatch with his H22A.
Why would his heavier car with worse tires run .3 better than your car? .3 is a big difference in car lenghts too, so again I'm telling you that the H22A is more of an X factor than any other swap.
You have axles, ECU, EGR, check engine lights, harder to launch, etc. against the H22A.
Now if both swaps were running as they should then againI think the H22A wins - no big deal.
But since I'm being realistic I'm throwing in the real variables which obviously doesn't suit you since I'm not saying "H22A by a mile y0!" like you'd love to see.

the slicks was a one time thing, I did however pull the same time on STREET TIRES. Heres the slip if you dont believe me.
street tires
this is the first time I had slicks and ran the H22.
both runs were made with full interior(including spare) with A/C and NO LSD.
BTW where are YOUR slips?

I've actually got a few videos of it doing 13.4 on steelies with 20'' M/T slicks, but no 13.3 on video and my timeslips used to be on my PC on Windows Millenium. When I went to Windows XP I lost my digital slips.
You don't have to believe me if you don't want to, but I can get at least 5 references here on H-T that saw me run 13.3@101 in person at Silver Dollar Dragway in Reynolds, GA.

slash his tires, kink a fuel line, hook a chain upto his rear axel and find a conveinently placed eye hook sticking outta a concrete wall directly behind his car.
any combination of these will work.

its the weight difference that is your biggest problem...just get off the line before him and try launching w/o peeling out much

you dont need that much...w/ a 50 shot you'll probably smoke that h22
b18c = 150 hp + 50 = about 190 give or take, but it gives you alot of extra torque
h22 = 170 give or take a few horses

Re: Need tips in how to beat h22 (soopafly828)
im sorry man he's gonna eat u up at the lauch if he knows how to drive...the lowend tq and lsd tranny is pretty hard to beat...my friends h22 del sol can whoop me off the line in the streets everytime because his car is so predictable on the launch....revs at 4k on rota slips and feathers throttle then shifts hard into second half spinning 2nd as soon as it hits vtec 4900 its pulls harder then a ****....i catch up in thrid where my top end is stronger but otherwise he can beat most N/A cars that he sees...on the freeway its just ****** fun lol...also he starts out with more power stock..about 166whp and 140tq on average...ur car will probably pull 150 whp and 110tq maybe...just right there he has more hp and tq at a lower rpm...he has a better tranny...so take this into accound if u can get alot more top end power u can easily catch up...his power falls off really fast in third so cams and headwork could be the deciding factor
