Default **CATALYTIC CONVERTER REPLACE**

ok, well im going to replace my cat. converter tom, morning, should i do nething, to make it easier for me to take the stock 1 off?!? ne tips tricks..?

There are no tips or tricks. Basically remove your old one and put the new one in.

You might encounter some tight/rusted bolts, however. Try to pick up some Liquid Wrench or some other penetrating fluid so you can remove the bolts without stripping/shearing them off.

Other than that, everything is straightforward. Good luck.

EDIT: If you don't have access to a compressor/impact wrench, try to use a 6 point socket, NOT a 12 point socket. You have a less chance of stripping it when you use a 6 point one. Same thing, even if you are using an impact wrench. Use the 6 point impact sockets.

If you don't have sockets and only have a ghetto adjustable wrench or something, don't even attempt it. It's going to strip in about 2 seconds and then you'll have to cut the bolts.

LOL, i dont have a impact wrench, but i dont have that stupid adjustible wrench either, but i do have socket wrenchs and a few regular wrenchs, im going to try to find a breaker bar from a friend or sumthing.
