I have a 1997 civic dx hatchback that had a d16y7 in it that i just changed over to a b18b1 and i have managed to drop it in with all the mounts everything is wired up (used the y7 harness) but now the thing will not crank over

-the car was an automatic before so i wired up the car to signal it is in park
-i check all of the grounds
-the timing is correct
- i have fuel pressure
-im using a chipped obd1 ls ecu with a jumper harness


I check a majority of the fuses and they all seem fine

btw the car cranks but doesn't turn over

Im confused at this point and any input/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Missing a few details there. does it have spark? Does it have fuel?

yah id check spark...then id check timing and make sure the rotor button is on number 1 while the cam gear is pointed up. id check you ecu fuse or backup fuse or whatever its called.

if you have fuel spark correct timing and compression it should start

double check your wiring...

and your sure its getting spark/?
