Default Need some input...

I just picked up a 1993 Del Sol Si and I don't have any experience with a single cam VTEC motor. It has a GReddy turbo kit on it and a Spearco FMIC but thats pretty much it. Is there a good exhaust out for this setup or should I just go get a custom 3 inch setup with a good muffler shop? Also it has a Hayame filter, FPR and I think thats it. It runs really smooth right now no leaks or anything. I also think I should get bigger injectors for safety reasons. It's only running 6.5 psi of boost. Let me know what you think. I would also like to add some other bolt ons that are inexpensive. Give me some input please. Oh and is there a way for me to tell if the VTEC is kicking in? I don't hear the crossover with the single cam.

Why???

Some people say you can get away with 2 1/2 piping on turbo depending on what your power levels are. I say think bigger picture. Boost is addicting and if you plan on upgfrading later and may be putting out power that would maybe require 3in, why not just get 3in off the bat instead of buying an exhaust system twice.

the crossover on the single cam isn't very noticable anyways but you can get a vtec light...search on how to make one.

Is there a 3 inch exhaust that will bolt right up to my car? I don't think I will get any bigger of a turbo, I'm pretty much just going to do a little to this car since I'm not as into racing as I used to be. If I want to go real fast, I will drive one of my other cars. (2003 S2000 or 2003 WRX) Ultimately I would like the del sol to run mid 14's probably on street tires. I don't even know how much boost is safe to run during the summer or winter here in AZ. I think it's set at 6.5 psi right now. Can I turn it up a little safely at the track? How much does my car weigh? Sorry for all the questions.

kteller.com has some very nice del sol stainless exhausts

The 2.5in is really as big as you need with that engine unless you build it and then that turbo kit will need a seriuos upgrade as well

Thank you. After I get the exhaust maybe I will hear the crossover. I hope an exhaust will add some good power. It should since it's so bottled up right now.

I checked that website, and the only thing they have is del sol piping. I want an actual bolt on kit.
