I'm pretty sure you're right. My friend tried putting them on his integra but it didn't work.

HX rims =
A little bit of clarification though... the HX wheels WILL fit on a 5th gen EX or Si, IF you feel like either A) shaving some of the caliper off... I can't exactly explain the location, but if you have HX wheels and want to mate them to an EX or Si, you will see what I mean when you try to put them on. the other option is B) just get a spacer to add a little more offset. I chose to go the caliper shaving route, just because I have an air-grinder and I'm impatient and didn't want to wait for someone to ship me spacers.
BTW, this is on the fronts on an EX. The wheels fit fine over the rear drums, not sure about rear discs on an Si...
Also, here is a pic of my 95 EX coupe with gunmetal HX's on it.
(more pics here: http://roots.zapto.org/~mjohnston/081702 ... yeah, the camber is horrible, I'm working on that... )

Re: Need some info on HX wheels------> (Unjockable)
The spacers should be easy to find... it's just an aluminum or steel round plate with 4x100mm lug pattern holes drilled in it. Ask at an auto parts store, or maybe at les schwabb or something.
If it were me, I'd get the same spacers all around just so your front wheels don't stick out more than the rears...

the hx'x weigh 14 lbs each and i got them on my 96 civic but i had to use wheel spacers on front so they would clear the calipers.

VX wheels are 13", HX wheels are 14". The dish part in the center of the wheel looks a little different too.
What's the story behind that car? Looks rough...

speaking of HX's, I just stripped the paint of of mines and it looks pretty nice without painting it. Machined HX's look hard as hell IMO.
