a honda dealership. u dont know how cc works? u get up to the speed u wanna cruise at and press the button and it will stay there. when u touch the brake or clutch it will disengage. as for your shift points. REDLINE THAT BISH. na wait untill u know how to drive it first. doing city driving i shift between 3-4k

try having your foot completely off the clutch? i let me foot gently rest on the clutch sometimes while i'm cruising, and i have to move my foot completely off for the cruise control to turn on.
the process is:
1) push 'cruise' button on the left so that the light turns green.
2) take foot off clutch, attain desired speed
3) press the 'set' button
then you can take your foot off the gas and press and hold the accel/decel buttons to fine tune your speed.

turn the cruise control button on near the window switch
I double tap one of the buttons on the wheel and the green light should come on in the bottom of the cluster

no, your foot has to be completely OFF the clutch. like i said, sometimes i accidentally rest my foot on the clutch and that is sensitive enough to disengage cruise control.

I am not certain what your friend meant about the shift points as you can shift whenever like someone mentioned. I think he was probably referring to where each gear limits. In my car, stock ECU.
1st ~ 20mph
2nd ~ 61mph
3rd ~ 80mph
4th ~ 120mph
5th the rest of the way. Never limit 5th so I am not sure where.

I think what your friend meant in regards to the shift points is what is the best way to get max. fuel economy. I remember my owner's manual having a "suggested" shift point chart detailing at what speed and RPM you should shift into the next gear. However, since I'm Canadian, I can offer you no help whatsoever coz my chart is in kms.

your 4th goes to 120? hmm i believe mine redlines at around 100...
hit the CC switch next to the guage cluster dimmer switch. the CC switch should light up green. then you have to be moving i think its atleast 35mph or something like that and when u reach ur desired speed, between the 2 buttons on the steering wheel for CC, hit the bottom one.
