Default need some help with spun bearing


ok my prob is as follow spun no. 2 bearing put new ones in to see if i could get a damage report. engine starts lossing power around 2500 rpms. i'm going to rebuild it. was wondering if anyone has a list of things i need to replace and possibly a diy guide. i have researched it some but i keep getting looped through yahoo and google. if someone would please help

i would replace all the barrings in your motor, and possibly get your crank micropolished depending on how it looks. mic your crank out and make sure you dont need some oversized barrings. also be a good time to hone and rering. once again take a dial bore gauge to your cylinders and check for out of roundness. if out of spec, bore and hone. or sleeve.

short answer, complete rebuild, or buy a new motor.

x2 you can pick up a short block for way cheap, i picked up my d15b for 476, and that was complete.

well thats the prob i'm running into i can't find a short or long d16 around here and after shipping online i've spent 800 to 1000 when it would be cheaper and i plan on boosting once its rebuilt so i'd have to tear it apart anyway
