need some help selling my car
anyone have any tips/suggestions that would help me sell my car? i currently have it posted in the classifieds forum here, carolinahondas.com and on thepartstrader.com. has anyone had good experiences with ebay? was also thinking about posting on autotrader.com, but i'd like to try my hand at free websites before i start dishing out any money. any help would be greatly appreciated!

i don't think i could take my car to carmax if i wanted to...check the ad in my sig, that is about as far from a "stock" car as you can get..
anybody had any experience with ebay? i've seen a few people get scammed, but i also had a friend sell his car for 3k over value simply because he had a FMIC...

I have sold a few cars on ebay when all else failed...I have gotten very fair prices for them as well...just be VERY honest, and the more pics and details listed the better. Check bidders freedback as well - reserve the right to "buy it now" and specify deposit and payment methods.

Oh I see, ya thats uhh, not quite stock Ebay isn't a bad idea.
About the carmax thing, I guess I just got lucky, I got near blue book for an accord that I'd wrecked about 5 times.

Have you considered parting it out? If you have the stock parts, you could probably make more money parting and returning it to stock. You also open your car to a market of older people who don't want a "racecar".
Just a thought...
