I live in the area of this car, which I am going to look at this weekend - seen here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...465117&r=0&t=0 I ask and the only damage is the front end - is that possible for a salvage title? damage does not look serious. Should I ask to remove the bumper to see if there is any frame damage? or should I take it to a shop to have it inspected. what else should I look at? any advice would be appreciated. of course this car will be used for a swap, so I am not terribly worried about the motor & tranny thanks in advance - Greg

Looks to me like the upper radiator mount is bent a little too. And you'll probably need to replace the headlight bucket too, not just the lamp. looks just like my car right now.

I'd say definitely take a mechanic friend, or a body shop friend along to look at it. And ask to take the bumper off to check the frame. If he doesn't let you, don't buy it.
