Need some help figuring out what this tranny is from...
I have a d series tranny, and I'm not exactly sure what it came off of. I got in a trade and I know its fine since a freind was using it. My guess is that it is from a y7 motor, but I want to make sure. The code on it is: s20-1408669
your help is appreciated!

It's as ******* simple as that. Simply don't, *******, read 'em. Not rocket science. So other than that, quit bitching & learn to ******* deal with it. I'm sorry you people suck at life too much that you're not able to skip a post in an INTERNET thread - though, obviously you are indeed unable to do so, which almost makes me feel bad...not quite...but almost. Bitches.

Re: (richard7968)
Thanks for the help. That link didn't provide much insight into what tranny I have on my hands. Good info though
I'll have to look at it again to see if there are any more numbers.

when you say you want to know what kind of tranny you have then check the numbers by the axle
really small should be n000b or a i think it is that will tell you weather it is vtec trans or none vtec trans
if it was not too cold outside i would check mine
