Need some help Del Sol Specs.
hi all,
i need some help on the specs of the del sol, well specifically the powertrain of the del sol.
over on howardforums there is one user that is adamant the del sol is a mid-engine rear wheel drive car and since he likes to use this pitcure and this one to prove his point found on this thread (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?cmd=print&id=1266033)
some of his previous posts,
http://207.210.82.132/showpost...unt=8
http://207.210.82.132/showpost...nt=28
newest one is here http://207.210.82.132/showthre...36885
so it would be much appreciated if some one can set the record straight (even though if one were to read WhiteSol's thread anyone with any intelligence could figure it out), especially WhiteSol, if he is still around.

THAT del sol is a mid engine and possibly rear wheel drive... i htink thats an h22 in there which is sick... but since i drive a del sol and also have seen many it is not a mid engine rwd vehicle... my engines in the front and when i spin my tires... the front ones spin. Tell your friend at howard forums he's an idiot and needs to do more research.

Is this reputable enough?

Look for "drive type" about halfway down the page...

Omg what a noob,listen:
There are quite a few RWD del sols rolling around,i know ive seen at least 4 and a few RWD tegs too.
That is an H22 alright....they are good choices for these projects since they are bigger engines than most and they are a bit heavier than most B series by some 50 pounds so that helps add traction to the rear wheels.
Now why would they put an engine in the back and connect it in the front wheels?
There is no car ever produced to have the engine in the back and front drive.
Theres everything else tho, front engine-front wheel drive, front engine-rear wheel drive, front engine-all wheel drive, mid engine-rear wheel drive, rear engine-all wheel drive, rear engine-rear wheel drive, rear engine and all wheel drive.Theres no rear/mid engine cars with front drive alone.
There were no production rwd sols or civics of any kind, anyone knows that.
