need some help b16a
This weekend i swapped out my b16a2 (very tired, low compression)for a b16a in a 99 civic dx and now i am having a few issues with the car feeling very sluggish. I am using a jdm b16a (obd1) with a 2000 civic si wire harness and a p30 ecu with obd2 to obd1 jumper.
After the swap the car feels like something is restricting it and felt very sluggish, so i changed the p30 w/jumper to a p2t ecu (stock civic si ecu) and it did help but not a whole lot. I ran the p30 with the b16a2 for almost a year with no problems so i can figure out why the car is doing this?
Could it be the obd2 harness on the obd1 motor?
any help is appreciated
