need some help...99ex to d16z
i have a 99' EX . and i blew the motor, due to time and money contraints im using my friends 95 si motor (d16z i think) mine is an AUTO (i know, i know) and his is a manual. so we are ONLY swapping engines. will i need anything part wise? the engine was IN another car, so we have ALL the pieces...any help would be GREATLY appreciated...

It should be a very easy swap, the motor mounts are the same, you will have to switch ecu's though since a z6 is OBD-1 and your blown y8 is OBD-2. Switching ecu's will prob be the hardest part becuase of the wiring will have to be pushed abd pulled around again.
