need some help!!!!!!!!!
my power steering went out a couple of weeks ago and now every time i hit a bump acellerate quickly, slow down fast or take corners it sounds like my power steering rack makes a poping sound. i dont think this is safe, what do you guys think? 94 honda civic ex stock.

the seal in the pump, it started throughing oil all over my clean motor. also i pluged all the lines from the pump. there still is fluid in there, not alot cause i took some corners and it shot on my header. then i pluged it

or the pump, get one or both from a junkyard and swap it out. Shouldn't take you 30 minutes.

i would but all the junk yards around here dont have **** for my car, checked craigs list, none and then i called autozone and they want $179 for a rebuilt one. i'm just woundering if its about to go or something. the poping doesn't sound good but i can deal with it if its fine. just don't want to be driving down the street and have my steering lock up or something.

If it's just the seal, just buy the seal. P/s pumps are pretty simple. just take it off, and start taking it apart. Replace the seal, reassemble. What could happen? If you screw up, you'll be in the same boat as before.

Okay, here's what you do. Find the moderator padawan, he sells p/s block off kits. It's the best way to eliminate p/s on out cars without swapping engines.
