Wiring problems!!!
I'm doing a jdm b18c gsr obd1 motor swap into my 97 civic si. but i was told since my car is obd2 i have to change the wiring harness though out the whole car is this true?or is there a easier way to wire my motor in? its my first swap and help will be much appreciated. thanks.

yes all you need is what that guy said, but you could still get rejected when inspection time comes

the engine harness wont change. u have to use the engine harness that came with the motor. ur jumper harness is prob 12 inches long in kick panel of ur car plug it into ur car harness then attach ur ecu to it. i mean u might have to wire a few things up im really not all that sure. i dont put older motors in newer cars so i cant really help u with that.i do think u should be ok since its a B motor. alt plug will be diff i believe.
